WGM/WGP SPECIAL PROJECTS:

*ABC Youth Scholarship Awards
-We hope to present our youth (Rainbow, Job’s Daughters and Demolay) with scholarships to further their education. The number of scholarships awarded will depend upon funds raised.

*Masonic Home Outreach
-We will continue to deposit funds into the long established Eastern Star Fund that is given to our members each month that receive Outreach aide.
-In addition we wish to send care packages to our members receiving Outreach help.  This will be a state wide project and your District Deputies have the information.
-You may help by donating an extra $3.65 to your dues for the Penny-A-Day program.  Watch for the pink sticker!

*Missouri Honor Flights
-Monies will be divided among the 7 regions that serve the veterans in our state.
-It is our wish to help provide funds for the Honor Flight so that more of our members who are Veterans  may be able to see their war memorials in Washington D.C.
-The 7 regions in Missouri are:  Central Missouri (Columbia), Franklin County (Union), Great River (Quincy), Greater St. Louis (Chesterfield), Heartland (Kansas City), Honor Flight Network(Kansas City), Honor Flight of the Ozarks (Springfield)
-It is our hope that our veterans are able to sign up for this wonderful opportunity.
-Visit www.honorflight.org for more information and to sign up.
-Helping and honoring Veterans could be a service/charity project for your Chapter/District.
-Volunteer positions are also available on the Honor Flights.

*Shriner’s Hospital
Since 1924, Shriners Hospitals for Children — St. Louis’s board-certified surgeons and staff have been providing high-quality pediatric orthopedic care to children, regardless of the families’ ability to pay.  Besides orthopedic care, the hospital also provides care for cleft lip and palate, muscular and neuromuscular, and plastic surgery.

SPECIAL FUN ACTIVITIES THAT RAISE REVENUE FOR CHARITIES
*Third Annual Fun Day July 14, 2018:  Mark your calendar now to attend this wonderful event.  It will be held at the Masonic Complex in Columbia.  Stay tuned, more later.

*Dine-Out-Missouri: Again we will be having Dine Out possibilities.  We will announce them as they are available.  Check restaurants in your community-see if they will sponsor a local dine out possibility to raise funds for your chapter or district.  This would be a great service/charity project.
